Stuart Ganis started in the Personal Lines Insurance industry in 1989. Stuart has held numerous positions including Sales Manager, General Manager and Vice President. He was responsible for managing, recruiting and training of a staff of 95, and consistently exceeded sales and retention targets throughout his career.
Mary Ganis started in the industry in 1981. She held positions as Branch Manager and Vice President, then ultimately chose to re-enter sales as a top producer. In an agency of over 135 agents Mary maintained the #1 position for eight consecutive years. She consistently outperformed her nearest competition by 20% and wrote over $2 Million in personal lines premium annually.
After meeting in 1997 Stuart and Mary started a small Insurance Agency in Redondo Beach, CA. Within 3 years the agency employed 32 full time individuals in 2 locations, with over 7,500 active clients producing over 2M in annual commission revenue. Stuart and Mary successfully sold the agency in December, 2005.
Jerry Pickett has business operations and analysis background that has served him well in evaluating, negotiating, and verifying the value of dozens of insurance agencies ranging in size from $100K to $4M in annual revenue. He has established methods for finding opportunities for buyers, recognizing hidden value in sellers, and adding value to existing agencies, having completed the sale of his own agency’s operations for over double the value it had three years earlier.
As former agency owners ourselves, we recognized a need for Insurance Agency buyers and sellers to have an advocate - and formed Ganis Consulting. The team has assisted dozens of owners in selling their Insurance Agencies, as well as helped numerous individuals and companies grow their businesses both organically and through acquisition.
